About Your Therapist

Hi, I'm Denage.

I'm a trauma and attachment-based therapist who values authenticity and healthy relational connection, and I love helping clients strive towards this. I believe we are biologically wired for connection, and that our relationships profoundly shape how we experience ourselves and the world. Relationships can become complicated pretty quickly, yet we need them and long for them.

I enjoy working with adults navigating relationship challenges, complex trauma, anxiety, and ADHD. I have developed a special passion for working with women navigating late-diagnosed or lifelong ADHD, particularly those who have spent years feeling like they are "too much" or never quite fit others' expectations. Having completed specialized training in this area, I enjoy helping women understand how neurodivergence influences emotion regulation, relationships, self-esteem, and daily life.

I also have extensive trauma-focused training and integrate EMDR with psychodynamic and attachment-based approaches. Understanding how trauma affects our nervous system, beliefs, and relationships is often critical in healing.

In addition to individual therapy, I work with couples using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), helping partners understand the attachment needs and emotions underlying conflict, identify negative interaction patterns, and build more secure, connected relationships.

I believe there is usually a reason behind how we think, feel, and respond, even when we don't fully understand it yet. My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you can better understand yourself, develop healthier ways of relating to yourself and others, and create meaningful, lasting change. I am LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent-affirming.

If this feels like a good fit for you, I'd love to connect.
